I read the blogs that I follow in the Reader, so I do not need to get daily emails. They are filling up my inbox! Today I finally got around to figuring out how to turn them off so I thought I would share how to do it. Yes, you can find this information in the WordPress help section, but only if you put in the right search terms! So here ya go! Note: I did this on my computer, not my phone .
- Click on your Profile photo at the top right of the main screen in the app, not on your website.
- On the left side you will see a menu, scroll down to Notification Settings and click it.
- At the top of this box you will see four options, click on Reader Subscriptions.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Block all emails updates and then SAVE. Done!

Thank you. Yes, I’m getting flooded with WP emails too.
I forgot to say that I did it on my computer , not my phone . Hope it helps!
Thanks!
A few years ago I had over 20000 emails from WordPress…😆😆😆
😅😂
I do just the opposite. I use email to follow most of the blogs to which I subscribe.
👍 Thanks, Paula.
Great to know.
I’ve finally gotten around to do this … I’m looking forward to a cleaner inbox while also following blogs on the Reader app. Thanks for the tip!
