Let them in, they’re cold

We southeast Texans aren’t used to it being below freezing for more than a few hours . The space heaters and electric blankets are flying off the shelves at Walmart. My poor chickens’ water bucket was frozen and so were the freshly laid eggs. Strong winds threatened to blow my van off the highway when I unfortunately had to go to Walmart for the fourth time this week because I just can’t seem to remember to buy detergent. I know things are much worse up north. Hope you’re all staying warm!

Merry Christmas weekend!

  1. Merry Christmas to you, dear saint, and to Saint John and Grace as well. 🤠
It was -5 when I woke up yesterday and today was -1, but we are warming back up into the 40s later this week. I think the high was 10 yesterday, but today we’re going up to 17.
But it IS just a winter storm, not a horrifying “bomb” nor a “cyclone.” The media try to find the most frightening words to describe anything these days to keep us all in a “State of Fear!” 🙄
Stay warm, safe, and enjoy God’s Presence this weekend.

    • Thank you. Merry Christmas to you and yours! You know they love these “extreme”weather events. More propaganda for their climate agenda.
