Man vs Nature?

God created man’s body from the dust of the earth and it was to be sustained by the plants of the earth that God created. He breathed “life” into man, that is his soul. But Man is body and soul, not simply dust.

God is not nature, he is the creator of the earth and man. The conflict between man and nature is caused by man not recognizing that he is a creature whose body will return to dust.

His soul however comes from God and will live forever. His choices are to live with God in paradise or without him in torment.

Genesis 2:7-9

[7] then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. [8] And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. [9] And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Conclusion

But who made God, you ask? No one. God has always been. He is the great “I am.” Therefore, my conclusion is that it’s not man versus nature, it’s man versus God. Rebellion causes destruction.
