My husband is hospitalized with Covid pneumonia. The details are hard to write out. We did all the right things at home (Frontline protocol) and it still got worse. It’s overwhelming, yet I that know God is with us. I wanted my blogging friends to know. Please pray for his lungs to heal and for him to NOT BE INTUBATED. He has been there for two nights so far and he hasn’t improved. He is getting Remdesivir by IV. Thankfully I am no longer having Covid symptoms, but I am still tired from lack of sleep and proper recovery.
I know many of us are really struggling about what to do because we don’t want the vaccine. I just don’t know what to tell you. This variant can be mild for some people but all the Texas hospitals are FULL of unvaccinated people. It can kill you.
I pray that everyone will accept Jesus as Lord and savior today. Amen.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry. I have been praying for you guys, knowing you are weeks into your struggle with this beast now. I hope you are able to be there in the room with him. It is really confusing what to make of the delta variant. I have been trying so hard to get my friends and family to take this seriously, but politics and the media have really created this atmosphere of absolute distrust and bad information. I know it takes a lot of courage for you to share these personal experiences, but people do trust your word, so you are doing a world of good talking about it.
I begged the nurse and she let me go in for five minutes and I prayed over him. It’s terrifying to see him like this , extremely weak. And yes , no one knows what’s true anymore . It’s spiritual warfare, demonic confusion .
I know exactly what you mean. When my father had his aneurysm (which, incidentally, was caused by untreated pneumonia), it was so hard to see him in the ICU. He had survived Hamburger Hill, did tough work as a well driller and contractor through every season. It hurts seeing the tough guys in humbling circumstances. It absolutely is spiritual warfare, and we’ve had it easy for so long many people in our country are incapable of recognizing it.
Exactly. Thank you for the kind support. I think our country is getting ready to be hit with a terrible time of crisis and death (the next wave) that we haven’t seen in a long time, most of us never. We just thought last year was bad. Many people lost loved ones, yes, but it was more concentrated in certain cities and states. I hope I’m wrong!
“I pray that everyone will accept Jesus as Lord and savior today. Amen.” That’s the best any of us can do. We are all going to die, unless we’re around for the Rapture, but most of us won’t be. I’m glad you were able to pray over your husband. I pray, too, that he won’t leave this world one moment before God is ready to take him home.

Dear Paula, I will fast for your husband’s healing. There is sooo much about prayer I don’t understand, but still Jesus called us to fast and pray after He would leave the earth. And He is there at Father’s right hand making intercessions for us, also. ❤️&🙏. c.a.

Father, Whom You know Yourself to be, I don’t understand anything about fasting and praying, other than Jesus saying we would after He had returned to Your side. So I am fasting today for PK’s husband’s healing. We know how many were healed when our Lord walked in Israel. Today, Lord, walk into this hospital in Texas and stop in Mr. Adams’ room. Paula needs him; his sons need him, his daughter need him. Father, have mercy on the Adams and heal him and restore him to full health; we pray for no residuals; no loss of smell, no nerve damage, no lingering ill effects. You, Yahweh/Jesus, are our healer, our baptizer, our comforter and friend.
We know You healed many who were unworthy of Your touch. Who of us IS worthy!?
You healed many in response to requests from people who did not understand who You are. Do I understand? You are God, the Creator, designer of DNA and quarks, spangler of the sky with galaxies beyond our sight.
O, LORD God, please have mercy on my friends in Texas and go into Mr. Adams room and touch him like you touched blind Bartimaeus; like you touched the leper; like you touched the man dropped in front of you when his friends tore up the roof.
Lord we appeal to you to heal Mr. Adams.
Today’s breakfast is past, and I continue to ask for your healing touch.
Our hope is in You, Lord. You alone have the power we need. There is no other on whom we can call; no other God beside You; no God like You, who is living and inhabits the praises of His people, who lives in unapproachable light; who hears and answers when His people call on Your Name.
Lord, I won’t bother Paula with the remainder of my prayer, but I wait before You, but I will continue to call on you for healing for my friend, Mr. Adams.
I ask this in the might Name and proven reputation of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, and my sin. Lord, we beg of you, make it so.

Continuing to pray for you! A few years back my hubby got pneumonia from concrete dust and wound up on a vent. We spent a good ten days trying to get those oxygen levels up, so my heart goes out to you.
Was he able to recover ? Concrete dust sounds pretty bad for the lungs! Thanks for praying
