I’m noticing this more and more in the running world . People are giving up alcohol for 30 days or forever . I’ve also seen ads for non-alcoholic fancy drinks on Instagram. This is one trend I can get behind! Run more, play outside more, socialize , but drink less or not at all. . Running is a great way to feel good without destroying your liver, your life and your bank account. Well, I guess some people exchange one addiction for another . But I’d choose running over alcohol addiction any day. Not likely to cause a vehicular death just because you went for a run. Although…. unless you get to the root of your reasons for escaping or coping with life through any addiction , you’ll never be truly free.
