I didn’t Google it but I’m pretty sure at one time there was a saying about evil winds . It felt like there was an evil wind blowing this week. A wind of hate and division and ungodliness. I noticed a lot of people seemed off-kilter . We had crazy weather, too. It was in the upper 70s. On Wednesday and today it’s in the 30s. Also President Trump gave an important State of the Union Address that was strongly opposed by the Democrats.

I don’t delve into the study of spirits and demons because the Bible says not to , but I do know that there are spiritual forces in high places that are battling , because the Bible says that, too. We are to resist the Devil, think about good things, and pray , using God’s own words to protect us .

Philippians 4:8, NIV: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.”

Ephesians 6:12, ESV: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”
