Election 2024! Media Working Hard to Create Fear and Increase Political Division

How many of you have heard or believe that there is going to be a ‘civil war’, or other chaos after the election, no matter who wins? What is this idea based on? Has this fear been purposely implanted in your mind so that when ‘someone’ brings the chaos, you won’t question who is behind the chaos? Have you considered that the very people who claim that they are so worried that violence will erupt after the election could be the same people who instigate the violence? This is called predictive programming.

predictive programming—the idea that media subtly prepares the public to expect certain outcomes. When these predictions are made frequently, it can create a sense of inevitability about future unrest, even when there’s no concrete evidence of widespread violence. This cultivates fear, amplifies division, and may even influence violent behavior.

The woke movement, which specifically advocates cancelling or outlawing anyone deemed guilty without a trial and rewards public shaming, has produced a public that is very quick to make assumptions, point blame, and convict people without the facts, especially when there is any connection at all to politics. This has led to outrage addiction and virtue signaling that fuels an ever more divisive and dysfunctional society, and presents a real threat to free speech and freedom itself.

It’s important to be very critical of how the messaging of the ‘news’ is framed and ask whether the evidence truly supports such dire forecasts. Ask yourself: is this true? what are these claims based upon?

However, we cannot dismiss the possible danger of violence too quickly. The left and right are so divided that many feel that the results of this election will determine their future security and freedom and they feel compelled to protect themselves and their country. I’ve heard people say they are hoarding groceries and ammo, and others talk about leaving the country.

Voters from both parties believe that after the election there will be chaos, economic disruption, and/or violence. The copycat effect, where mentally unstable individuals are emboldened by the actions of other mentally unstable individuals, is a real concern. This weekend saw the arrest of another person with guns at a Trump rally.

Unfortunately our leaders are doing very little to heal the nation or reduce the division and instead continue to use their political power to work towards their own goals. The national media, government officials, community leaders, and social media influencers have a responsibility to report facts, not speculation, especially on sensitive issues.

Of course fear sells. People panic buy all sorts of things including entire bunkers, which stimulates the economy, but also takes money away from more important things like retirement funds and education. Even worse, it steals peace of mind and creates turmoil in families, workplaces, and on campuses.

The best idea is for everyone to really study the issues, then get out and vote. Take a friend! And prepare to accept the election results. We are being told that the polls are right around 50/50 for each presidential candidate, so every vote counts!

  1. So far, violence, threats of violence and normalization of violence come predominantly from one side; the unDemocrats.
Actually, it’s very simple. They are preparing the public so that it believes that the acts of violence, that they are planning not to instigate but to commit themselves are the acts of some crazed MAGA extremists.
You can expect manufactured incidencts by FBI and other agencies.
As with Jan. 6, these incidents can be exploited to the fullest.

  2. I’m not voting for a President this year. I think neither one is qualified which may irk some people but it is what it is. I’m focused on the state and local elections this time around.

  3. Actually, if Harris wins I doubt there will be a lot of trouble; note that no assassination attempts have been made on her tribe.
But if Trump wins, expect riots and mayhem in every major city and on many university campuses that will make the summer of BLM look like a recess in kindergarden.
There may be a couple of ultra conservative nuts who will cause trouble… and it will be blown all proportion to how many and what they do.
