Christian Meditation versus Eastern Meditation

Many Christians believe that meditation is a Biblical practice. But there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. One way is idolatry and one way is faith. This very helpful video explains the difference.

In summary, In Eastern meditation you empty your mind and enter a state of the brain where you feel euphoric and are not connected to your thoughts at all, only feelings. You also get a rush of endorphins. This can become addictive and is not Biblical. And you open yourself to demons in this state.

In Christian or Biblical meditation you are in a brain state of alertness and communication with God through his Word and the Spirit. Therefore in the former you are seeking escape and in the latter you are seeking wisdom. The purpose and intention matters.

Note: I know this YouTuber is a Seventh Day Adventist , but this is still a good video.
