Anything I wrote right before the Covid nightmare officially began just feels really significant to me. I came across this post and thought it was interesting so I’m sharing it again.
It feels like the past 20 years (at least since Obama’s election) have been building up to a crescendo of division of those who will trust and obey God and those who follow the world system, aka Satan. The internet, social media and politics provided the arena for hearts and minds to battle with right and wrong.
It’s been a bloody fight and thanks to Covid, many did not survive. Others were given a chance to discover or refine what they believed. Some chose to side with the truth and righteousness and others chose relativism, science, or statism.
Did your love grow or did your heart grow colder over the past three years? It’s not too late to repent and believe in Jesus!
And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
I must admit, it was difficult during that time to grow and mature as a Christian because there was so little ‘work’ to do, but God remained faithful to me
