As we get closer to the Second coming of Jesus, there will be an increase in the public presentation of images and worship of idols, pagan deities, and the earth as divine. Governments will begin to reveal their true master. This will be accomplished through deceived humans in various ways, especially through public platforms such as concerts and speeches.

The world has been taught that the devil is not real and that man is his own master through media, entertainment, philosophy, and education. They will not be able to recognize the deception. We are living in a time when we are being told that up is down and right is wrong. We must keep our eyes open.

One example is The Commonwealth Games which were held this summer in the UK with Prince Charles giving the opening speech. The extremely long and complex opening and closing “ceremonies” were shocking to many Christians. The elaborate scenes were part CGI video and part live action. The incredibly expensive event, $778 million pounds, was paid for by tax dollars. Was this appropriate during an economic crisis?

More than a sporting event, the games were used as a political and social platform, like so many other previously entertaining and fun events. You can’t escape the woke mob. I missed the part of the ceremony where they carried the rainbow Progress flags which include the recent racial additions, and was meant to challenge laws outlawing LGBTQ. “The Birmingham 2022 Opening Ceremony will tackle the Commonwealth’s “problematic” history of colonialism and directly challenge those participating nations in the Games which still outlaw homosexuality.” https://inews.co.uk/news/birmingham-2022-opening-ceremony-commonwealth-homosexuality-peaky-blinders-1757375. Of course the BBC had only good things to say.

A story of slaves being freed from oppression was narrated by the games commentators along with the performance. The story was supposedly about redeeming and healing Birmingham’s oppressive industrial past, however the scenes themselves showed a star exploding and crashing to earth (Satan) and the “shards” (demonic power) being picked up by humans who then bring them and worship the beast by bowing to it and dancing ecstatically. If that is not a religious experience, I don’t know what is.

All of this is symbolic of the Baal worship in the Bible . Eventually in the long ceremony the woman climbs up on the beast and the other ‘dreamers’ or shard-carriers surround the beast to worship. This is a similar to a scene from Revelation where a woman who is called a harlot is riding a 7-headed,10-horned beast. In Revelation the 7 heads are 7 hills, or countries, and the 10 horns are ‘kings’. The “woman” will be part of the globalist economy. She is aligned with the kings. The ‘beast’ in this case is Satan himself who is controlling the world. However, the woman is symbolic of a powerful city or entity that is eventually hated and killed in the Bible’s account. So as you can see, the ceremony is a mixture of two Biblical symbols, the pagan god Baal, represented by the bull, and the scene of the woman on the “beast”, which is how the commentators refer to the bull.

I urge you not to shrug off the significance of a world power presenting such a ceremony in a year of war, pandemic, and famine. Even if you disagree with some of the interpretations in these videos, please give it some thought.

Note the building of a tower (Babel), the woman riding on the beast, the healing of the beast’s wound, and the worship of the beast. The closing ceremony included building a tower (Babel?) and the music of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne.

I’m sure some people will say this is just symbolic or entertainment. Satan will camouflage his message from the unsaved, but if you know your Bible, you can’t miss it.

The Bible teaches that Satan rebelled against God’s authority. He wanted to be ‘free’. He then deceived Eve into rebelling and disobeying God’s authority which was the first sin of mankind which we call “the Fall’. Satan has been deceiving humans ever since. Only those who put their faith in Jesus will be saved when God judges the world and Satan. Will you be awake when He returns?
