You could consider this podcast a part two to my post about America not being a Christian nation. In this episode I discuss how industrialization and progress and the rise of the Progressive party led to the syncretism of American Christianity with idolatrous consumerism and materialism. This has now led to an increase in interest in non-Christian religions and spirituality as people seek meaning in life apart from the true God.
