Let Freedom Ring! Happy 4th!

Independence Day 2021 is extra special!

I hope everyone is able to take a minute to reflect on the blessings of living in the United States of America. Whatever your politics, if you live in America, you have much to be thankful for!

Just a few suggestions to get you started on counting the reasons to be glad you live in the U.S.A.

  • Freedom of speech! You can disagree with the government and not get murdered. (Unless you have dirt on the Clintons.)
  • Freedom of religion! You can worship God or not, and believe any religion that you like. (But other “Christians” may disagree with you.)
  • Freedom of the press! Um. Well, mostly.
  • Right to keep and bear arms. Hmm, this list is becoming uncertain.
  • Well, anyway, for now we are free from tyranny!

Celebrate our nation of diverse and unique individuals and communities and fight to keep it free!

Economics 101. Part 1: Work, Private Property and Happiness ep 53 Blue Skies and Green Pastures with Paula Adams

The first in a series of talks about economics. I discuss why people need to work, own things, and how that provides freedom. People need to work to feel good about themselves. People need to own property to have power over their lives. People need to be free to think and act independently of a nanny state. None of this will happen if a new class of non-working people is created. Beware the Marxists who hate private property and question the socialists who want a basic minimum income to replace jobs. https://www.project-syndicate.org/say-more/an-interview-with-klaus-schwab-2021-02 http://www.blueskiesandgreenpastures.com — This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app — Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/blueskiesandgreenpastures/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/blueskiesandgreenpastures/support

  1. Great, but you skipped two of the first amendment freedoms:
    1. freedom of assembly ,,, unless your governor decides it is too risky for public health for your church to meet; but it’s okay for casinos to stay open.
    2. freedom to petition the government (part of freedom of speech) … if you can get hold of a senator or congressperson.
But we’ll keep on keepin’ on until Jesus comes. He is a more reliable leader than anything political parties can offer. ❤️&🙏, c.a.
