The animals know
That it won’t always snow
The birds will sing
With the returning of spring
The flowers bloom
And replace the gray gloom
The budding trees
And buzzing bees
All in due season
God has a reason
He made it all
Winter spring summer fall .
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,
15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. – Genesis 1:14-15

I’ve seen signs of spring coming ! Have a blessed day !
This was so beautiful! It gave hope as well reminding us that God is in control of the seasons in our lives as well.
I’m so glad you like it. I’m new to writing poetry and feel a little self-conscious. Thank you.
You have a gift from God. Thanking God for it because it ministered to my heart ā¤ļø

Please let spring come early this year!
yea and yea!! Spring is coming, it is inevitable. š Praise the Lord for all His seasons
Beautifully written.
I think if it were not for the winter months, we would never really appreciate spring the way that we do. I love so much watching everything come back to life and turn green and all the colors in the flowers, too. And, it is like that when we believe in Jesus Christ, too, for he takes what was dead in sin and he brings it to life, to a new life, not like the old dead life. So, first we have to die to our old lives of sin (winter) and then we can be reborn of the Spirit of God (spring) and have the life of Christ now living within us. Revival is like this, too, seeing those who once were on fire for the Lord drift away from him only to be brought back to life (winter to spring). It is awesome!
So true! I’m coming out of a difficult depression and it feels so good to actually care about life again. Premenopause has been very tough .
Paula, I really get that. I had an early menopause because of having parts removed when I was only 31 years old. So, by age 40 I was full swing into menopause and it was awful. By age 52 I was past it, with occasional hot flashes here and there. But, I went through a bad period of depression, probably beginning at age 37 or 38 and lasting until age 43, but it would come and go after that sometimes, too. I still battle those feelings sometimes, but I cry them out to the Lord and he lifts me up. We just have to not rely on our emotions at all and just keep looking to Jesus no matter how bad it gets sometimes. We need to keep praising him in the storms of life, and the joy will return. Praying for you today.
Thank you for sharing and understanding. ā¤ļø
You are so welcome!
