It’s an amazing, sincere, inspiring, patriotic, heartfelt and humbling appeal to God to bless and heal our nation. Multiple pastors and choirs and national leaders are presenting short performances and speeches in Washington , D.C. . The occasion is the 250th birthday of America and the purpose is to rededicate America to God through prayer. So far, it has not been political at all. Hopefully it will stay that way .
I doubt you’ll hear much about it in the regular media.

PRAYER is a vital part of the Christian life.

However, Christ-followers do not need to fear. In fact, as Marilyn Elliott once said in a sermon, “In the 21st century, what will make Christians distinct from the rest of the culture is not what they do or don’t do or shouldn’t do. What will make them distinct, make them stand out, is that they won’t be afraid.”
