This year has been a doozie. But I’m happy to report that we had a great Christmas celebration! I didn’t take a ton of photos because my people aren’t fond of photos of themselves being shared online. But I like to have a record of the passing years and this blog is a good place to store them, I think. (photos coming, having technical issues!)

My mom is getting very weak and has no energy due to the ALS, but she graciously gave up her comforts of home to bless us with her presence in my home for what is almost certainly her last Christmas on this side of heaven. All of my kids were there and we had a fun time Christmas Eve hanging out and talking while the rain fell.

The weather has been tropical, including rain, warm humid temps, and tornadoes. The food was only so-so, but Christmas is never about the food for me. I was pleasantly surprised that my kids all really seemed happy with the few gifts I chose for them. And my son gave me his iPhone 13 Pro Max! So I have a giant phone again. It was a really special Christmas.
