How sweet the sound!
God has been working on me. In fact, I almost feel like I am born again, again.
I feel more of his presence, his love, and his grace.
I feel him drawing me in, showing me new things, opening my eyes that I thought were open!
I feel love FOR Him that I’m afraid was a bit legalistic before. I really WANT to read my Bible !
What changed? Well I don’t want to take any credit for it. One thing that changed was I started reading a devotion every morning, first thing. I keep the book in my bathroom. I read it before I get coffee or anything. But I know it was God who moved me to do that.
I just want to give God the glory and praise for what he is doing.

Yes! First thing! It’s amazing to me how quickly I can get sidetracked with something as minor as checking the weather for the day (to see when I can best get in my “prayer walk,”) Next thing I know, I’m reading my emails, answering texts, watching videos …
Keeping a devotional book in the bathroom is a GREAT idea. We never procrastinate on hitting the bathroom. 😉
Lol! I keep my phone in there at night so when the alarm goes off, I have to get up! 😀

Amen! I downloaded a bible app onto my phone today in the hopes of making reading the Bible daily a more automatic thing. I need things as easy as possible these days! God Bless!

It’s an old one! Lord I Give You this Day by Kay Arthur. I used to do her Bible Studies with a friend. I think she gave it to me. It has been sitting on a shelf in my bathroom for years. One day I suddenly noticed it, dusted it off and started reading it. 🙂
