I encourage everyone to watch the President’s State of the Union Address and come to your own conclusions. Despite the media’s usual practice of pointing out the more dramatic and negative moments, such as Nancy Pelosi’s childish tearing up of the speech, it was a good speech full of encouraging things happening in our great country. Trump mentioned passing policies that are definitely ‘reaching across the aisle’ such as the Family Leave Act. Being President is a lot like being a parent. Everyone wants something from you, but you have to do what is best for the country. Watch and be inspired and be proud to live in America!
