Notice what you’re noticing. Are you noticing things that God notices ?

Pay attention to what you are giving your attention to. Are you looking for the good in people?

Think about what you’re thinking about. Are you at peace?

Judge what you’re judging. Are you judging righteously?

Examine your focus, what bothers you, what attracts you, your object of mental rumination and then ask yourself if there is anything you are doing that you want to modify or stop or increase.

Did you discover something you don’t feel good about? Are you paying attention to the wrong things? Don’t push down that awareness! No need to shame yourself.

Ask God to forgive you, then start praying daily for God to help you be more aware of your unawareness. Ask God to refocus your attention to the things He considers important. Ask Him to pull you back to his will and to focus on his glory.

Let your mind be guided by the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16[14] The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. [15] The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. [16] “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
